From a record 51 entries, the jury awarded 35 Awards and Commendations at the 2014 ACT Architecture Awards on Saturday 14 June at the recently refurbished REX Hotel.
The INLIGHT Light in Architecture Prize Winner was awarded to Philip Leeson Architects for the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (Canberra) who also won a Public Architecture Commendation.
The architects chose to install BT Bamboo’s classic carbonated amber vertical laminated flooring. It has a tongue and groove profile which was installed as a direct stick floor in the refurbishment area and stairs.
